Vitali to make comeback?

According to several German Newspapers Vitali Klitschko plans to make his comeback in the boxing ring. He is searching for an apartment in Hamburg near the Universum Gym to begin his training with his old trainer Fritz Sdunek. A physiotherapist from Braunschweig will take a look at Vitali during the training to heal his problems with his back und the knee completely. Sdunek reportedly stated he believes Vitali only needs one fight to be ready for a world title challenge. There are also rumors that RTL (Television), which signed with Wladimir Klitschko to a $12.8 million deal to televise his next four fights, stands behind the comeback plans of Vitali.

i dont think im the only one who is not surprised by this,

he needed a few years off to rest his body, i look forward to seeing him kick some serous ass again :)

If he is fully healed, he will undoubtedly take control of the division.

Good news for Wacko.

I'm a huge fan of Vitali...I just hope he knows what he's doing & I hope that his body is up to the challenge. We shall see.

Hopefully somebody does before valuev surpasses marciano's winning streak record.

valuev is about 7'1" and vatili is around 6'8" makes a historic fight. i say vatili could beat the akward valuev but make a intersting fight

OH MY GOD!! If Vitali comesback, I'll finally have some love for the heavies and actually be somewhat excited about watching a heavyweight fight. He was so dominant, a complete technician and I loved watching him fight. When I was new on this sight I recall having some serious issues with Wacko because he was dissing him for his knee injury. I though "Fuck you" but it was because I had so much respect for vitali, and wacko had love for him too, he was just dissapointed. I still don't think he'll come back, but the second the fight is announced its Xmas for me.

If I never had seen Vitaly fight, after reading this thread, I'd think he had the technical skills of Holmes, and the punch of Shavers.

Vitaly never impressed me. His claim to fame was a gutsy performance against an aging out of shape Lewis. A fight he lost. His following fights were against nothing formidable.

It may make the division more interesting, but his brother would beat him like a drum. Its also a fight we'll never see. :(
