*Ex-MMA star Vitor Belfort trys his luck at boxing* (video)

I did a thread about this earlier this year as I was going through Kelson Pintos record, I saw his next scheduled fight and realised Ex-MMA star Vitor was gonna be on the same card..... Guess Pintos fight fell off but Vitors went on....

He fought Nov. 4th I found the fight on YouTube and here it is.....

He's only boxing because he can't fight for any MMA organizations due to his steroid trouble.

Hes listed at Heavyweight, Soutpaw, 224 lbs, 6' 00".......

lol i'd have to agree with you. What kind of defense is that? Hes open for shots down the middle and his arms are far away from his body so he's open on the sides too.

Yeah his opponent was really wierd looking.
Kept twitching and didnt seem to know whether he was southpaw or orthodox.

Both upright, no latteral movement... just blocking... reminded me of two novices.

Ah ok, didn't know that. I saw Robbie Lawler on that card and Mark Coleman get his ass kicked by Fedor. Either way, I dislike him for using steroids, if you can't win without them then you sure as hell shouldn't be allowed to win with them. In the case of Vitor, he can't do either.

But surely boxing is a stricter sanctioned sport. If he cant get away with it in MMA then he wont here.

is this the guy that destroyed tank abbot if it is i always said he would be good boxer was impressed with his hand speed and the way he throws his punches but watching him there he doesnt look too good but he has quick hands if he could learn better boxing technique he could be good

If you can't look good when you have someone who shakes which fist he throws before he throws it there's not much hope in the boxing game
