When Steve Molitor finally stepped into the ring recently and brought home Canada’s only current world championship, it was a culmination of many miles, setbacks and persevering over adversity. And then there was the training. Molitor not conquered in the ring with a pair of monster left hands, knocking down his opponent Michael Hunter down in the fourth and out in the fifth, but he also conquered everything outside of it, cutting through the red tape and obstacles thrown his way that had him entering the ring with over a year’s rust on his gloves.

Great article El Gamo, I must say after watching Molitor perform against Michael Hunter I immediately felt like I had a new favourite fighter.

Great style, bags of calm confidence, willing to travel and exciting to watch.

Obviously as a Brit I went into the fight wanting Hunter to knock him out but by the end of the fight Molitor had won me over.

He was also very polite and respectful after the fight towards Michael, as Michael was to him which was great to see.

After watching Bernard Dunn put on a masterclass in Dublin, in what must have been one of the most intense and passionate atmospheres I have ever seen in a fight arena I am literally salivating at the foot of Molitor travelling to Dublin to fight Bernard Dunne in his home town!

To be honest, Molitor vs Dunne in Dublin, I can't think of a fight I want to see more!

i was impressed with him mate very good schooled boxer showed his patience because he lost first couple of rounds then got right on top
