Kelly quits after Euro title loss

Damaen Kelly has announced his retirement from boxing in the wake of his European title defeat by Italian Simone Maludrotto on Saturday.
The Belfastman suffered a third-round stoppage by European bantamweight champion Maludrottu in Sardinia.

"That's the end of the day, that's me finished," the former IBO, European, Commonwealth and British champion told the Irish News.

"I did have good successes but I knew that it was coming to and end."
