Cotto happy at new weight

Former undefeated WBO junior-welterweight champion Miguel Cotto believes moving up to the welterweight division will make a much better fighter.

The Puerto Rican hero faces southpaw Carlos Quintana at 147lbs at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on a Showtime televised card next Saturday(Dec 2) and is very happy with his preparation.

Cotto did look very gaunt at the weigh prior to his last fight with Paul Malignaggi
Plus he looked a bit watery during the fight...

Kinda reminded me of Gatti's condition before and during the Mayweather fight.

I think 147 may work very well for Cotto, provided he ups the tempo a little.
