My 2000th post - an emotional moment, what happened to some of these names ??

My 2000th post - sigh it took a while to get here...


At these emotional times I thought I'd look back over the list of people who had joined before me and see how I am faring post wise. I was member number 12 all those years ago as we followed our illustrious leader from the Naz forum - when I was just a nipper and some of our younger members were just a twinkle in the milkman's eye...

So here are members number 1-11 in order. Am sure you are all familiar with the top 3 ;)

1 Saddo
2 brad
3 Mad Dog
4 Doot - thought he was long gone but apparently was logged in yesterday
5 Prince BadiAjamu - who the hell is/was this ? ???
6 Bighogg - seems to have flown the nest
7 Meunouk - long gone ( ;))
8 Slimers Biographer - wtf ?? who ???? ???
9 Hornfinger - doesn't post uch but still get the odd text message
10 SOBO - still around but I am am ahead on posts !!
11 John Blaze - where is old John ?? :-\


Here's to the next 2000 - will be quicker this time. Honest ;)

Well done mate but it's taken you a loooooooooooong time to get to 2000.

Wacko does that much in a week! Well almost.

Personally I aim to get to 1,000,000 posts by the end of my lifetime, thats assuming the site is still alive and well in 50 years or so.

It's a tough target to reach but I think with hard work I can reach it.

I want to be able to look back in 50 years time and say to the grandkids,

'Look 1,000,000 posts! Damn I wasted my life!'.

Hopefully that will be a lesson learned for them to stay away from the internet!
