We all know the difficulty of trying to keep track of who is the man in each weight division because of
all the different organizations. If you were to pick ONE that would be final decision maker in who
is the Champion of each division, which would it be?
I like how Boxrec have set up their ranking system.
Aside form fighters moving weight and down in weight causing a bit of a glitch in the rankings... its a very well thought out system.
Great thread, The Ring Magazine is easily the best rankings in the world. The original, and best. Unbiased, well respected, and honestly ranked. All the other ranking systems have lots of shat affecting them, you could go on all day.
The ring uses the system I use, the man who beat the man. I don't know the Ring rankings, but If I had to guess it'd be...
Heavyweight - Wladimer Klitschko
Cruiserweight - O' Neil Bell
Light Heavyweight - Bernard Hopkins
Super Middleweight - Joe Calzaghe
Middleweight - Vacant - 1/2 Taylor/Wright
Light Middleweight - Corey Spinks
Welterweight - Floyd Mayweather
Light Welterweight - Vacant until Hatton wins belt.
Lightweight - Joel Casamayor

Undoubtedly The Ring--you only get the championship by beating the champion and you don't have to pay "sanctioning fees" to ensure you get the title then.
The Ring rankings are what I prefer. No BS involved just putting the best in line. Like everybody else already said about the "sanctioning fees", beat the champion to be champion, and to much affecting the other rankings.
