I think he looked good against Pemberton and Spina because they both only went for one shot at a time, I don't think he can deal with combination punching and true pressure. Watch how his sparring with Ishe Smith went(Smith is in all white). Manfredo doesn't have a chance against Calzaghe.

You can't blame Manfredo for taking this fight, this is a huge opportunity for him, even though the odds are against him severely, how many boxers even get the opportunity to fight the champ. Manfredo really has nothing to lose here, noone expects him to win, few say he even has a chance. If he loses, it was the expected outcome and he gets a good payday, if he wins, well ripples through the SMW division will happen, could very well be considered the upset of the year.
And Majesty I saw the vid on another thread, and I was thinking with Joe's speed, that would be two punches to every one of Ishe's. I don't think this one will last past 7-8 rounds, Peter has a good chin, but not as good as Bika's I'd reckon.

that was really boring, i think they both need some more gym time. the first 2 mins. i counted about 10 punches between both of them manfredo sucks

I like Joe, but I don't think its a big deal that he's about to tie B-Hop's record by fight the likes of Manfredo. B-Hop did it with much better opposition.

this was only a spar everyone knows that sparring and a real bout is completly different (e.g the pace)

It looks a light spar Manfredo dont look as hes trying to hard. Smith catches him a good shot then the bully comes out in him, I wouldnt read to much into it manfredo is probably not a gym fighter do we know his condition at the time

I was thinking along the same lines, and I was wondering how old the video was. If he had just started working with Roach he may have been working on some things instead of trying to mess up Smith.

he will do fine if you consider a complete and total blow out and possible long term hospital stay afterwards doing fine. maybe he should pull out and fight ishe smith first. doesnt look like he can handle him for shit.
