Films where it's ok for a bloke to cry ?
Was at work talking about the scene in Rocky 1 where Mick tells Rocky to stay down after Creed has felled him in 14th round and is celebrating what he thinks is a stoppage. The way Rocky gets up , Adrienne looking away as she sees him trying to get up, Creed's reaction when Rock is back up and gestures for him to 'come on'......well that scene always gets me and puts tears in my eyes - I'm not afraid to admit !
Are there any other moments in movies where its ok for a bloke to cry ? (apart from 54 minutes into The Crying Game )
Any suggestions ?

The end of Terminator 2 with Arnie going down into the lava with his thumb up and John Connor balling his eyes out... :'(
Gamo will back me up on this one... the anime film 'Grave of the Fireflies' is one of the most emotional films I have ever seen, guaranteed to get you misty eyed too!
You can also throw the Korean movie 'Failan' into the list... the ending to that one was pretty gut wrenching.

Armageddon
Ive heard some blokes have cried at that film ;D
Re: Films where it's ok for a bloke to cry ?
one of the other lads at work mentioned Armageddon. Think I was ok for that one ;)
Another one that gets me - Rudy
Anyone seen that one, true story about a guy who gets to play for Notre Dame football team for last 10 seconds of one match (cos he isn't very good!)
Re: Films where it's ok for a bloke to cry ?
Rocky 3 when Mick dies in easily the saddest moment in movie history apart for My Girl of course ;D
I also remember secreting liquid when Denise Richards got he babs out in wildthings but that felt different :-\
Re: Films where it's ok for a bloke to cry ?
Theres a film with Denzel, where he tries to get an transplant op for his son who is headed for death but Denzel doesnt have the right insurance for medical cover and cant get a better job for the money outright and so with things almost totally yet agonisingly out of his control, ends up loosing the plot and hi-jacks a hospital at gun-point and demands the treatment for his boy, with a few spanners in the works and the S.W.A.T team stalking his azz, in desperation he then has the idea of offering himself for the body part he's son needs.
Theres a moment i that film that is very, very sad. :'(
