Which version of fight night?

Hi all

As a sometime PS2 player I have become increasingly interested in trying out EAs fight night game.
I have read through some threads in this forum and id be grateful for some advice.......

1) Is it like Tiger Woods etc, ie a version is released every year? Which is best (hopefully its on platinum lol)?
2) Whats the gameplay like - is it quite tactical or just button smashing (or a combination)?
3) What gamplay modes does it have - exhibitions, career mode etc?
4) Online support?

My main concern is that it would get old/samey very quickly - is there enough variety to prevent this?

1) Yep, each and every.
2) Game relys heavily on you anticipation and refelxes... So a good understanding of the sport is a must.
3) Exhibitions, Career Mode (Including rivalries), ESPN classics, Hard Hits (where the round only ends when some one goes down)
4) Yes, by far the best option 8)
