If you could be a pro boxer....which one?
Lets say you was offered the chance to go back to starting a boxers pro career at 0-0 with the same talent etc who would you choose? For me its a toss up between Tyson, Leonard and RJJ. All damn talented and had it all, i would change many things if i was Mike (being more focused with training etc) and perhaps looked for bigger fights if i was RJJ. HMM its a close one. Who would you want to be?

From those choices, you gotta go with Mike. He lost everything out of the ring, but he has made more money than anyone. Just until the Douglas fight, you could retire and live happily ever after, making video games, movies, etc....
Mike could of had it all. It was the outside stuff that ruined him financially. Just avoid those mistakes and you're set.

I hate to talk about him like he was gone already but I would say Evander Holyfield..
He maximized his talents and exceeded expectation, always came to fight every damn time and left it all in the ring everynite.... Say what you will but the guy was an overcomer and overachiever.. His record isint spotless but thats what make him special, he fought anyone and everyone he was a true warrior...

Evander is a true warrior like you said, but I wouldn't want to be him. You'd be taking a lot of punishment being holy and you would have to train harder than the other guys.
I'd take Tyson. By the time he went pro he already had such a good set of skills, speed, timing and power. All you'd have to do was to make sure you weren't getting taken advantage of by everyone, not slack off during training and not get in a messy divorce in your early 20's before fighting someone named buster.

When I say this, keep in mind I am a huge Tyson fan...
Holyfield has heart Tyson Didn't
Holyfield has huge stones Tyson pretended.... He was a bully who when someone stepped to him he would mentally unravel.. I dont know if he could have avoided that ever.. He had the goods but severly lacked in the ticker department
Holyfield was a true Blood and guts warrior and will be immortalized as such... Thats a gotdam legacy if there was one

Stanley Ketchell.
Crazy as a loon, wild and unpredictable, a world class boozer and party animal, absolutely no fear of any man on the planet, possibly the greatest Middleweight Champion of them all (knocked down reigning world heavyweight champ Jack Johnson), never ever tanked a fight.
Died of gunshot wounds after being caught having breakfast with another man's wife. That was the only way the guy was going to put him down.
What a guy !!!!!
Re: If you could be a pro boxer....which one?
