HATTON v URANGO 20/1/07 World Exclusive Hitman Interview - constantly updated
Re: Ricky Hitman Hatton v Juan Urango 20/1/07
Yes mate def needs to impress to shut of the doubters. My opinion is that he just had the wrong preparation and a bad day at the office against Collazo. And surely you are allowed 1 bad day at the Office in 9 years :-\
Don't know much about Urango to be honest
Re: Ricky Hitman Hatton v Juan Urango 20/1/07
I don't think anyone gave Collazo the respect he deserved at all.
One tough full blown Welter imo.
Sure just surviving that last round will have done Hatton the world of good mentally ;)
And let's be honest here...A lot of other fighters come the 10th round would have got on their bike and run that out,not our boy Ricky though as he has no reverse gear and just kept coming forward to fight till the final bell.
Huge respect goes out to him for that as far as im concerned.
Getting sick of these Hatton haters so i hope he gives us something brutal to ram down their throats O0
I seriously believe he's gonna put some proper damage on Urango (and he knows he needs to) and fully expect him to deliver!!
Put it on him Rick ;)
Heres a link to Urango's fight stats (Few KO's on there....) He looks a lump at light Welter.

Re: Ricky Hitman Hatton v Juan Urango 20/1/07
Doesn't matter what he does it won't change the opinion of the haters, sad little stumbles.
The problem is now that who is there to fight at 140 that is going to improve his stock?
Got to be honest I think PBF or Cotto would brutalise him at 147
Re: Ricky Hitman Hatton v Juan Urango 20/1/07
Cotto for one just seems so much more powerful than Ricky did at Welter and PBF is untouchable at the weight imo.
Given the chance though Hatton would rip your hand off to fight either of those two.
Plus Cotto had trouble with Corley after a few rounds (yeah he ruined him in the 5th).
Let's not forget that Cotto has never fought anyone of Hattons intensity ;)
Re: Ricky Hitman Hatton v Juan Urango 20/1/07
I think Rick will batter him over the distance. If he stops him then that means a little something. Urango's big and he's strong but he's clumsy.................sorry, thought I was Apollo Creed for a minute ;D
Its funny the way things work out, Cotto gets mad praise for hammering a relative unknown in Quintana. Hatton wont get any if he looks good in beating Urango.
Re: Ricky Hitman Hatton v Juan Urango 20/1/07
I'd fancy Ricky to give Floyd a good arguement at 147 because the size difference wont be much. But yes Cotto does look very strong, probably too much physically for Ricky to deal with.
Re: Ricky Hitman Hatton v Juan Urango 20/1/07
at 140 i think hatton is the man, beats cotto, mayweather, anyone
147 mmm vs cotto would be good but i rly do think if corely can wobble him badly, hatton can certainly ko him
v mayweather a close fight 60-40 in favour of flloyd i think

Someone needs to let Graham know all the stars at 140 have funked off.
Re: HATTON v URANGO 20/1/07 World Exclusive Hitman Interview - constantly updated
Yeah, odd comment that :headscratch:
Then again, I'm not a professional trainer so what the eff do I know ;)
Hatton v Cotto at 147...well, I'll reserve judgement on that till Cotto takes on a live body. At this moment in time I'll take the praise from Quintana fight with a pinch of salt and I'll still back Ricky.
Hatton v Floyd at 140 or 147...head says Floyd, heart says Hatton. Always have faith in the Hitman ;)
