Where now for Wayne Alexander ?
Ive just seen Waynes fight at the weekend where he got destroyed in 1 round by unknown journeyman Serge Vigne. Wayne was decked in the opening seconds and never recovered . Not the most impressive display from a current world champion ( WBU )
I was ringside when he fought Harry Simon and he did well for a guy with only 24 hours notice . I thought he may do something with his career but his inconsistancy has really cost him . After yet another embarrassing K.O defeat to a nobody can Wayne rebuild given the fact he isnt that active and he is getting on in years ?
Wotchya reckon guys ?

Hey man where did u see the fight? i really want to watch it. I tell you what thats propa gutted for him. He got ko'd by a bum. did he prepare at all for this or was he just really unlucky to get caught with a bomb? as for his carrer imo he needs to get a rematch and just show every1 it was just a one off.

He's already done that when he was knocked out by the journeyman Delroy Mellis, so obviously not a one off.
Terrible loss
As Game said, inconsistancy plus inactivity has cost him big time.

He still avenged the deafeat didnt he? if you lose something you want to go back and show you can win and fight back harder. (me being a prime example :P)

I saw it last night on Big fight replay . They didnt show it on fight night for some reason . Serge Vigne was even worse than Mellis . I checked out his record on boxrec and all his oppoents have been obscure names in France . He's been beaten 15 times and has several K.O losses to nobodys . This should have been a mismatch in Waynes favour , but he got caught early , chose not to cover up , got caught again and was floored . He got up on wobbly legs , opted to trade and got pounded until the ref stepped in .
In the interview after he said he simply got caught cold. Its true that he came back from the Mellis K.o loss in the past but this may be a different story cuz it wasnt exhaustion this time . His chin let him down at the lowest of levels . He can probably get a return but its a huge setback and TBH i'll be abit surprised if we hear from him again
Re: Where now for Wayne Alexander ?
His last few fights have been below par, i thinks its end of the road for him. Never really a fan of his anyway.
