Thanks for that interview, Duke :coolclick:
Why, oh why has it taken Toney to realise this late in the game that fitness actually means something??
Im intrigued as to what Toney's weight might be, but we have been fed these stories before...
I expect Toney to do a number on Peter this time out though ;)
Is it just me or does it seem like Sam Peter isn't understanding the questions being asked?
Heheheh ;D!Quote:

Toney can talk all he wants. We have heard that he will be in shape so many times before and he still comes in over 230.
And in the worst shape of his life and he can still contend with the "best" of the division. This time it sounds like he has things on track and he will become a major force in the division.
Sam Peter isn't the best of the division. To become a force in the division he would have to beat the top guy and that is Wladimir Klitschko and he beat Peter by UD.Quote:

What did he mean exactly by this, that he's going to be takin a lot more protein and carbs or somethin just before the fight?
Toney by U.D. or late T.K.O!!!
The expression "carve up" is what is misleading in this sentence but what it sounds like he is going to do is increase Toneys carbo intake the weak before the fight so his energy levels increase...training should also be lighter during this period so that Toneys muscles heal completely from all of the breakdown.Quote:

It's risky but can work if the people around you know what you are doing. The main problems are that a lack of Glycogen during training will reduce the quality of certain aspects of your work, anaerobic activitys... springs, plyos and heavy bag work depending on how you do it will suffer and if it doesn't work toney will be lethargic and drained on fight night.
