PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)

I was Emailed this yesterday. Pretty damn usefull if you can remember it

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists.

Its a horrible thing to do, but hey... Don't knock it.

Its true it works. Happened to me last night in london. Some fella mugged me and i put the pin in backwards and a bunch of cops turned up out of the blue in 2 mins flat. Was coming back from our xmas bash.

I read a great story about a bloke that went along with one of these scams doing all but give out personal information to keep them on the hook ;D Kept them at it for months.

well did you know that once the cash machine has spat your money out if you dont take it after a few minutes it swallows it back up tand still withdraws the same amount from your account. in other words it just assumes youve took the money even if you havent.

what if your pin number is something like 4664 ????


you would be alerting the filth every time you withdrew
