Ive just bought a new speed rope. Nothing special, just youre average £5 plastic speed rope.
Its slightly too long for me, and im sick of tying knots in them. Is there anyway i can modify it to my length, permanently and make it look like i havent modified it.
Like those bits at the end that stop the handles from falling off. Anyway i can cut them off, adjust the length then melt it or something again sealing the handles back in, without hindering spin?

depends what type it is Jamioe, but the way you discribe is the way to go.
yeah, you simply move the plastic stoppers to where you want and cut the end off. very simple. just don't cut it too short. 8)

well u only need to tie nots once when its at the right length,and the plastic ropes are the best,leather ropes are expensise peices of shite ;D
maybe he could cut a few inches from the middle section of the rope and then meld the two ends back together with a cigarette lighter.
