Straining,
ok i've been boxing for a while and only now noticed negative results,my left arm up by my shoulder is stiff and hard to move,and its bad because thats my slugging arm,i juss want to know other boxers what do they do when experiencing Stiff joints and muscles..?

Slugging Arm! Is that your power arm? That's confusing. I'm picturing a caveman boxing. Your body is merely a machine and when the machine has a glitche it needs to be repaired. Time does that. Let it rest, and stop slugging.

It sounds like bad technique and poor maintainance you dont stretch or warm down

I've been feeling pain in the back of my shoulder joints pretty much every day after boxing for the past 2 weeks. Tonight, after punching a little harder and hitting the bag a bit longer than usual, the back of my right shoulder feels "strained". Is this normal for a beginner? It reminds me of the pain i used to get in all my other muscles when i first started lifting weights. Just take it easy and wait for the shoulder joints to adapt to the new activity you think?
