Why hadn't I thought to check youtube? My mother-in-law is John Tate's sister. I've been trying to find Tate's championship win to no avail. ESPN can't even tell me if or when they'll show it again as they don't own the rights. I have to check youtube when I get home.

Weaver could punch. He had a tendency to be like a Rocky Juarez and not let his hands go enough despite his power, but he was a pretty good fighter.
He gave a prime Holmes hell, and that was a pretty entertaining fight. I recommend that bout for people to watch.
Weaver's left hook was nice against Carl Williams as well. Williams was having a good first 2 rounds, jabbing Weaver nice, and he had Weaver on the ropes after hitting him some good shots. Out of nowhere came the left hook, and Williams never recovered, despite getting up a couple more times.
