Looking to buy some new sparring gloves - Any recomendations?
Does anyone have recomendations for 14/16oz sparring gloves for around £30?
My club buys bulk some unbranded stuff which seems to lose form rather easy, I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of the gloves on the internet market?
My main sparring partner has some lovely lonsdales that are designed not to hurt when he catches me, but i dont really have that £60+ to throw at it. Any experiance with some of the less well known brnads like Tao?
Cheers,
James

Crazy! I admire that the English man can throw any word at you and get away with it. Not sure if you're aware but if we use the word "lovely" in a sentence we're beaten up. Well I suppose that depends on who we are. I was an English major, myself, yet not that easily beaten up.
Also, the grass is always greener on the other side. I see many of the U.K. people inquiring about Western equipment, and equally, Westerners are extremely intrigued with the other side. I have one of these Hinsdale suites that was brought back to me from a trip across the lake. It's very exciting, and different to have it brought back to me, but it's far more gratifying to support my own country. Stick to home.

Otb My father wasnt a Major he never got that high he got to lance /corparel, he fought in the last war. He was at Dunkirk when the first shot was fired, when the second was fired he was in Dover.

Aw man, I'm confused. Did Scrap just miss that OTB majored in English in college, or was Scrap making some joke that went completely over my head, or did OTB in some crazy way become a Major in the English army even though it sounds like he's from the U.S.? LOL! I think i got hit in the head too many times tonight.

Its my sense of humour, not very good. A man can tell joke in england and the man in America wont laugh, it took me ages to work it out the answer is simple He cant hear it
