Manny Pacquiao will hold a press conference on Thursday afternoon (late Wednesday night in the US) in Manila to issue a major announcement
Who do you guys think he will join?? I think he should sign with GBP,they can make the better fights,he DID sign with them and if he jois TopRank instead,I don't think we will see him against JMM/MAB and GBP will look for a cour settlement which may keep him out of action for a while!!
if he doesn't sign with goldenboys, pac will get to unify the featherweights...he will capture guzmans title and valeros...if he signs with goldenboy he will prolly finish unfinished business with jmm if mab really wants some more beating then pac will take his title first then the other hopeless champs in pacs division.
I just hope pac doesn't get a long lay off...he should start capturing the titles those champs in his division won from lower level oppenents...
pac at a game show in the philippines stated he wants mab, I guess pac wants titles now but for sure he wants jmm too he wants to finish him...
if I was to guess, I`d say pac is going to stay with top rank. I doubt he cares that much about this whole mess though.

Not necessarily because Golden Boy, like all promoters, has an obligation to each and every boxer to seek out the most lucrative fights. That is obviously also in the promoter's self-interest. At the end of the day, it is HBO that will have the most say about who Pacman fights and who Marco, Juan Manuel and Joan fight. HBO writes the big checks so they get to call the tune. It's also dependent on who has a title, mandatories, purse bids etcetera but do you think MAB, JMM or Guzman are not going to want to fight Pacman because he is with a different promoter? Get real. Usually, whatever HBO wants, HBO gets. Don't forget that Golden Boy is HBO's MVP, most favored promoter, a status you can be sure it wants to keep.Quote:

I though that GB would be the best place to sign for Pacman but hey,MAB needs to answer the questions about Pacman othersie if he retires without fighting Manny,there will always be that question mark so aside from the excellent points you made,KK,I think Manny should keep calling out MAB until MAB has no choice but to fight. And of course,Manny is the hottest commodity in boxing right now,preiod. I think JMM and MAB needs Manny so even if GBP is reluctant to deal with Arum,they may have to do so to appease their fighters.
