Maybe american athletics are on the verge of making a comeback
I just watched the '06 strongman competition and an american won for the first time in 20+ odd years. The american barely beat super mariusz in a lot of events included the atlas stones which got him the win.

Bill Kazmier was the fucking man at those competitions!!!!
There was one strongman final where the guys were supposed to load full kegs onto a truck and instead of picking them up and walking them over and putting them on the truck Kaz just THREW THEM from where they were lined up a good 10 yards away!!!

Yeah...Kaz was one tough SOB!!! Still can't believe an American (or anyone else for that matter) beat Marius Pujanowski!! He is one bad mother..shut your mouth....:)

it was close if mariusz could do the fingers better he'd have no problems. he's still gonna have 2 or 3 more b4 he's done.

All the strongmen are juiced up on steroids - that seems to be the unique qualification that you need to be an American baseball football basketball player athlete over the past five years !

Nah you're not allowed to be juiced in strongman comps, if you are they suspend you for a year.
