Peter peeling off the weight
Do not expect to see as much of Samuel Peter this Saturday, when he fights James Toney on SHOWTIME at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Peter, you will notice, has lost a considerable amount of weight.

Hmm...Just wondering why we haven't seen any pics from the Toney camp after all the talk. Is it the same old crap from Toney's camp? Cause Peter looks like he's been doing
lots of work. Guess we will all see this Saturday.

Wow how amazing it would be if the two biggest fatties in heavyweight boxing both come in looking ripped :o

What would be amazing was if Peter TKO's Toney. To my knowledge...the fat guy has never been stopped...even when he weren't fat. ;D

I'm a bit uncertain over this one: I think Toney will probably take a decision in this fight, but I will reserve judgment until the weigh in. After all the smack coming from the
Toney camp, I'm actually optimistic that he will look a lot better. However, there's still a part of me that says he's full of crap and will not come in much better than he did for the last bout. The latter is probably the likely of the two scenarios, although Blanks' stock as a personal training guru, which has been very lucrative, will take a sharp decline.
With that I've done a great job at firmly establishing myself on both sides of the fence. :-\ ;D
I can say this definitely: It seems MOST inconceivable to me that Peter will be able to KO Toney. The man just has way too many skills to allow that to happen. Further, he's been in the ring with much better competition than Peter.
Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm really looking forward to this bout.
Re: Peter peeling off the weight
FUCK YES!!! Peter looks like he's really taking this fight serious. He looks like he's in amazing shape. LET'S GET IT ON!!!
Re: Peter peeling off the weight
Peter looks pretty ripped and not very flabby. I bet Toney will come in at 240 and still knock his ass out.
Re: Peter peeling off the weight
Toney won't be taking breaks on Peter in this fight I don't think he will. Toney if his conditioning is up will be fighting the same pace he fought before his achillies injury

Re: Peter peeling off the weight
It doesn't matter if Sam Peter comes in looking like a pile of shit or all ripped his STYLE does not fit with James Toney's.
Sam Peter throws wide punches and James Toney has made a career (70 some odd fights) of dodging and rolling with shorter quicker punches....just because he's old and fat doesn't mean he can't dodge super slow wide punches.
If Sam Peter had a jab and could maybe set up some of those haymakers then yes I'd pick him to stop pretty much everyone in the division BUT he doesn't so he'll look like hell and maybe he'll lose, maybe he'll get a draw, maybe he'll split a decision but he won't win outright
