Starting boxing
Well i'm thinking about starting boxing but there is no way I can get to a gym I dont get any money, so me and my mate were just thinking about practising in his garage; hitting pads, hitting punchbag and doing a bit of sparing, stuff like that. But i havent got a clue about boxing lol so has anyone got any advice or tips, i would appreciate it, and sorry to all you who know how to box, new people like me probably annoy you lol.

Re: Starting boxing
I think it's like anything Karlos, you can do it at home and all but you will only reach a certain level and probably will pick up some bad habits that you then need to try and unpick later.
Boxing is not easy. It needs technique and physical control like a golfer - and everyone starts that by doing lessons otherwise the swing is always wrong. Boxing is like that too.
Nothing wrong with gettinga bag and hitting it with your mates, but that will only make you fitter, not a boxer.
If you're serious, you need a gym
