Hatton out to end Vegas jinx

Ricky Hatton is intent on ending the Las Vegas jinx which has shattered the dreams of so many British fighters with a conclusive victory over Juan Urango on Saturday night.

Frank Bruno, Barry McGuigan, Lloyd Honeyghan and Naseem Hamed are among the big names who jetted across the Atlantic full of confidence, only to find the famous Strip a gamble too far.

Having edged Luis Collazo in a thriller in Boston in March, Hatton is already halfway towards establishing serious credentials in the States and proving once and for all that Britons can fight.
