Never
Brilliant piece of kit for dehydrating you, making you fatigue quicker and your motor responses slower.

Sweat Suits are a Myth.
The only thing that you loose from using them is Water weight... and Electrolytes...
They are meant to make you sweat more by not letting heat escape from your body... this supposedly makes your body heat itself up to make the sweat evaporate? I've never head such rubbish in my life... How the hell does that work... even if they did make your use more calories up whilst training to the same level as not wearing one (I repeat: Rubbish) ... and by that I mean hitting as hard and often, for as long... doing as many reps etc why not do this:
Not wear the sweat suite and spend those calories on hitting harder... for longer... being more explosive and my constant?
There is no magic suit that allows you to train as hard as your normally do and use up more calories... if you put one of these suits on and trained as hard as you could you would burn exactly... ZERO calories more than if you didn't have one on... because you are exerting your self just as much either way.
And seeing as how all these suits do is make you sweat more... and seeing as how training is about A LOT more than just sweating... why make that the major 'thing' of your training? ;)
I'd rather sweat naturally and perform to my best than sweat a lot and perform like shite.
Sweating isn't training... ;) if you let your training suffer to sweat more than expect your results to suffer too.
Plus how the hell are your muscles supposed to contract properly if you are sweating out all of the salts and nutrients in your blood?
When you sweat it's not water... you're not a camel... it's basically plasma filtered through your sweat glands... you'll feck up your metabolism and fluid levels just so you can sweat more and train worse? :P
When I was overweight I went to the doctors and asked him to give me something to make me sweat, He signed me off.
:-X your new years resolution should be to stop the bad jokes... :P
ccs to all of you guys. Proved to me exactly what i was thinking good for everyone to know tho.
no sweat suits. bad health. just Work Your A$$ off and your fine :P
To be honest. I use the sweatsuit from time to time just to get that deep sweat going. sweating out toxins , It has a rejuvenating feeling to it. .. a deep sauna like sweat ! . the key is to stay hydrated !
When I work out I like it real warm ! ! I like the gym to be hot , I like everything hot when it comes to working out. .. can't stand cold gyms either. ;) O0
Lords the body works at its optimum at 54 degrees F, but I know where your coming from.
what I have noticed, especially as I get older, is that the colder temps. make me stiff, I feel tight, and don't seem to have the flexibility.. I actually prefer to fight in the warmer months.. hate when my matches are this time of year ! I like a good sweat... I get fewer injuries training in the warmth.. do you find this to be true scrap? or is it just me? when I was younger it didn’t bother me so much..Quote:
