Was Nicolai Valuev's Ring Entrance the Gayest of all time?
Just watched the Valuev McCline fight. Shame about McCline's injury it was shaping up to be a good'un but lets get serious here,
WTF was Valuev's ring entrance about? :o ??? :o
If you havn't seen it I'll describe.
McCline comes in to no music whatosever, then the Russian Giant is introduced.
Now some really gay looking blonde knob with a guitar comes out and start singing.
Listening carefully to the words (which were in English)
These were the lyrics, some highlighted for emphasis

Does no one remember Valuev's entrance against Heck Beck? Much much gayer, it was the boyband god Ronan Keating. Poor Jameel Mcline but damn, Valuev was gonna tap that ass anyway, just a shame it looks like he'll be sidelined for 12-18 months, hopefully its not a career ender, sad way for a boxer to go if it is.

Good point on the NC rule.Here is what is considered grounds for a no contest decision.
In the modern game, rules in the United States now dictate that any bout which ends prior to the completion of the 4th round, due to an accidental headbutt, is to be declared a no-contest. Prior to this, accidental headbutt stoppages, had been ruled a technical draw. Most other no-contests in boxing occur when unusual circumstances, which would include instances such as a bout being rained out, ring falling apart, or an unexpected injury caused by something outside of the boxer's control.

Getting injured while throwing a punch is not grounds for a NC. "Unexpected injury outside the boxer's control" doesn't apply here. That would be if some fan charged into the ring and attacked a fighter, or the ring falling apart.
If you get injured while moving, punching, etc, than you lose the fight. Tough luck, but rules are the rules.
Pernell Whitaker's last fight ended when he hurt his shoulder throwing a punch and couldn't continue. It happens.
