Gammer devalues title - Harrison

Well if taking your mandatory defense against the number one contender is devaluing ......
Surely it would devalue the title more for Gammer to go to London and take on the challengers role against Audley. If Audley wants Scott's title so much then he should go to Wales and get it and do it on the champions terms - that would surely give the belt more credibility than bringing the champion to youre own doorstep and acting as though its merely a formality that you should even fight him.
Re: Gammer devalues title - Harrison
What devalues the title is keeping Williams as the mandatory despite having been thrashed by another British boxer in his last fight. The TRUE British number one is Harrison or Skelton, regardless of the Board's inexplicable ruling.

Granted the BBBofC should probably not have kept Williams as the mandatory, but there is no doubt in my mind that the British no1 is between Williams, Skelton and Gammer, and one lucky win over a 2-week substitute does not make a golden autumn in Fraudley's career. Indeed Williams is himself in the winter of his career, but with suitable prep time he would have put Harrison on his back. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sprott finish Harrison's career come their clash in London, and see Harrison skulk off into the night, never to be seen in respectable boxing circles again.
