Cotto Promotions

I just read an article that stated that the Cotto fight on March 3 will be promoted by Miguel Cotto Productions along with the support of Top Ranks Promotions and HBO. Cotto said that although this will be the first international experience his Promotion Company will promote, he will take no part in any of the promoting persay. I think that this is a really good move for Cotto in expanding the whole Cotto Company. I just hope he keeps him mind on track (training and fighting) and keeps out of all the bull that comes with promoting fights and fighters etc, etc. I just hope he stays indirectly involved and lets the people who get paid for that do what they do.

Do you guys think this could be bad for my man????
I know plenty of fighters have their own promotion companies. But i want to know if having one has caused the down fall of a great fighter by getting too involved????

Mike Cotto is just class and with extra poundage his chin should be better.

I just hope after this fight (if he wins witch i'm sure but this is boxing) All the future ones be against the best of 147. Meaning Mosley(very difficult becasue of top rank and golden boy issues but if Mosley convince ODLH "I can beat this Kid" might be done), Cintron, Margarito, Collazo, Mayweather, Williams honorable mention to Berto just for starters. one great fight after another.
