Harrison fails to attend tribunal
Scott Harrison remains banned from boxing after failing to appear before a British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) tribunal on Wednesday.
The ex-WBO featherweight champion was summoned after pulling out of his defence against Nicky Cook.
Harrison had spent five weeks in a Spanish jail and could not make the nine-stone weight limit.
Harrison's licence will stay suspended until he appears before the BBBC and is given permission to resume his career.
A statement from the BBBC said: "Despite confirmation of his attendance received from the office of his manager Barry Hughes, Harrison failed to appear before a tribunal of the stewards scheduled to take place at the board's offices. Read more...

Harrison is now all but over, I dont see him getting himself into a decent enough condition again, its been heading this way for a good while.

it is some what of a shame for boxing tho, he was a decent fighter and in shape was a good watch - i think at this point his boxing career is firmly over, even if he gets back in the ring now with anyone half decent i don't think he will do well.

This is true, but I can't feel sorry for the guy, he brought it upon himself.
