Before his exciting bout with Jose Luis Castillo, Herman Ngoudjo was "Herman, Who”? Things have certainly changed after the Cameroonian/Canadian southpaw’s very close split decision loss to the formidable Castillo last Saturday night.

FightNews sat down with Ngoudjo to discuss the Castillo fight and his future plans.

What is your reaction to the verdict in the fight vs. Jose Luis Castillo?



I was first surprised and disappointed because I really believed I was going to be declared the winner. I thought I outworked him on the outside and I roughed him up on the inside. I thought I won the fight by two to four rounds, but I also know the well-deserved reputation of this great fighter, Jose Luis Castillo, could have played a role. After the reaction of the people over there and from my team, I felt a lot better.
