He was getting tagged a bunch in that fight, against a Miranda he would ge beaten, and the body shots too, I loved that uppercut he tasted while he was smiling if you want to talk about cockiness
Pavlik stopped yet another fighter that has never been stopped and Pavlik did it convincingly AGAIN. I will again say he has not just beat the opponents you experters on here say he should, but he detroys them.
You can say what you want he took some good shots from a guy that can test a chin, GUESS WHAT he PASSED. He fought a guy that was a former Mexican Olympian, that lost a close decision to Jermain Taylor and he not only beat him but he KO'd him and Zertuche was out while he was standing. He was asleep standing up!!!!
I will guarantee that Jermain Taylor can not take Pavlik's punches, shit Kassim "The Jr Middleweight" Ouma hit Taylor with good shots and Miranda, who Howard "Not the Biggest Puncher" Eastman had nearly out on his feet could not take those punches. Granted Miranda is dangerous with his power, but it only comes with his right and not both hands like Pavlik.
Pantera, if Miranda wants the Pavlik fight soooooo much then why would he take a fight with Green before Pavlik, all he had to do was wait less than a week????? The WBC wanted a fight signed between Pavlik and Miranda by February 15th, that will not happen now. Why is that, not because of Pavlik??? Will you give the excuse that Pavlik backed out like you have before???
Did you here the announcement made by Michael Buffer after the fight, Kelly Pavlik the new Number 1 rated WBC Middleweight, he jumps ahead of Winky Wright.
You do realize that as of late, the WBC hasn't quite been making the correct comments/movements/decisions..... 1st they didn't want to sanction MAB fight against JMM I think it was or was it Pac. SHit!! the liqueeeerrrr! doesnt allow me to remember which one of the 2 it was...Quote:

I mean look at the guy he just fough. But again look at the belt hes been holding ;) It's ultimately them who put/name a #1 challenger.

And then last but not least IF they allow Vitali to jump straight into Oleg then that basically just shuts the case there about your #1 challenger statement on Kelley Pavlik.....

Everybody can say what they want about Pavliks opponents but when it comes down to it There is a very good chance that he could put Taylor,Wright,Miranda, or anyone else to bed in the ring. Nite Nite for his next victim. Looking at his record its almost certain that anyone he fights could fall hard. Pavlik throws way to many power punches for anybody in the middle weight division to handel. I've heard that his sparring partners are all heavyweights and most of them say that his punch is the hardest that they've felt.
I had never seen Pavlik fight before. Some things I found odd about the fight:
1. It was non-stop action. No pawing, no clutching, no fouling, no hot-dogging.
2. After the fight, Pavlik spoke intelligently, gave his opponent credit, admitted to his opponent's power, and showed class. Also, I understood him perfectly. No slurring.
I must've gotten used to watching James Toney fights... that's why I find all of this odd.
Anyway, I am now a Kelly Pavlik fan.
.
well he's got a couple more years to really establish himself....the real fight fans never give alot of credit to the first 5 years of a fighters career unless he really has fought Top 10 or champs....the US fans are just hungry for someone new to hang onto ...so that might push the rankings a bit....Quote:

If Pavlik fights the way he did in the first three rounds last night against Miranda, it will be an easy night for Pantera.
I WANT TO SEE PAVLIK VS MIRANDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
