How bad is Ty Fields?

"Tye" Fields (Missoula, Montana) is an American heavyweight boxer who has a record of 38 wins and 1 loss. He has beaten opponents such as Saul Montana, Bruce Seldon, Sedreck Fields, Maurice Before taking up boxing, he played college basketball.

I say he is one of the worse boxers I have ever seen. He slaps his punches and has horrible movement. If he fights the Russian monster, he will be sliced and diced. How he has been able to garner such a record is beyond me.

His last fight was with one Kendrick "The Apostle" Releford, 14-9, who he beat in ten dreadful and dreary rounds. Yeech!

If I could fight like Ty Fields, I wouldn't! ::** ::** ;D ;D

I think Fields would be a good fight for Valuev. If Fields could string a few impressive wins together so that he actually deserved the chance, I would happily watch. Yet even if Fields won (which I think is possible because he throws alot of punches) he couldn't defend the title. It would be handed over to the next challanger.

I was going to go to Vegas to watch Tye Fields fight and my buddy said
"don't bother!"

He could still beat Valuev if he landed first

I do not think Valuev will make 49-0. The powers that be will not allow it to happen. Larry Holmes was whored in his 49th fight against Spinks. Holmes won that fight.

If Tye Fields were to fight Valuev at any point he would more than likely get knocked out.He has horrible defense and was getting hit left and right by Releford in his last fight, luckily he isnt a hard puncher because if Valuev hits him with shots like that it is a short night for Fields.Plus he should actually work his way up for the chance to fight him. :)

I forget if it was teh first or second fight I thought Larry got F3ckedover on. but tye has no chance against Valuev..ZERO.

But Tye Fields sucks so much, and the power is really there, so I doubt he would have much of a chance against Wladimir. He looks like he should have power, but doesn't. And Lyle, basketball players do fight like girls, its true.
