I think with Rampage coming to UFC coupled with Silva's last two fights that it won't happen. I don't know how many more fights Chuck plans on doing but if its more than three I'd be suprised, and I just don't see the planets aligning themselves for it to be a possibility. The only chance is that Pride's financial woes continue to get worse and UFC scoops up Silva's contract. Before Silva's last two fights I was leaning towards picking him if they fought but after seeing the lopsided loss to Mirko and the KO loss to Henderson I feel that Chuck's patience and KO power would pay off with a late round KO.
I used to think the same, until I saw the latest matches. Now I'm thinking not so much with the late round TKO but the late first round TKO (knocks his ass down, almost out, finishes with 2-3 punches before ref steps in). Silva just seems to have lost his killer edge the last few fights.
