Does Edison Miranda remind anyone else of Nigel Benn?
I know how most of you Brits love Nigel Benn, and I know Miranda is not a champ yet or nothin, but doesn't he remind you of Benn? The wild right hands, the devastating power, the ripped physique. He reminds me of Benn. And do you think he will be as big as successful as Benn was, or more so?

Nah , he hits hard but he hasn't got the style of Benn imo, not aggresive enough or vulnerable enough.
I mean.. Miranda is aggresive , you can tell that from the KO %, but he still looks like a good technical boxer who waits to strike, Benn was just all out mental attack all the time

Actually, and I'm not talking about stlye here, just physique and appearance, I'd say he's a dead ringer for Chris Eubank.
Sometimes watching him Ithink he is a young Eubank with hair.

In style Miranda reminds me more of Julian Jackson but that's just my opinion....Allan Green reminds me a bit of Gerald McClellan

Definalty, I agree I think he resembles Ubank much more, Benn had the mighty left hook, Eubank has the big right hand and the scything angular punches.

Benn's one fault for me was that in attempting to stop a fight early he often expended so much energy that he wound up wearing himself out and losing...miranda works in measures, where he trails behind Benn in terms of raw aggression he instead has a more calculating boxing brain which is still developing

That you dont see Green in Mormeck anymore, or the original disagreement with the Mcclellan comparisons?
I like the Mormeck comparison, cause Jean Marc has excellent power and respectable handspeed for a Cruiser, its just his Stamina, Chin and defense is questionable, I think since Jean Mark is a big puncher he uses his offense almost like a defense and when you face another power puncher especially one with a better chin it dosent bode well, Just like I think that of Green at this juncture of his career.
