Whats the best boxers book you've read?

I've read a few 'the night train' sonny listons, 'Ali', 'Hurricaine','To be Frank' Brunos, 'Dempsey' 'From Peckham to Vegas' F.Maloneys... There's two I'm gonna order from Amazon 'Mano de Peidros' and 'Mi Vida loca' any thoughts or other reccomendations, also read on here Jack jonsons is shit hot.

I just recently finished readind "Hands of Stone". I thought it was a great book. It really covers a lot about Roberto Duran. It covers his life from start to today, and it covers the fights well too

one review i read said it painted RD in too much of a nice light and didn't go in to the legend that was the party loving nutter RD who caused hell and loved its consequences. Long live Manson looka like

Well it gives different accounts from different people. My opinion of him didnt go up or down after reading the book. Hes still my idol for his accomplishments in the ring. Most Tyson autobiographies make him a sympethetic character but this book doesnt do anything like that

I own and read these books. The Sonny Liston one was the best one. The James Tillis one made me laugh. I can't believe he actually put out a book

My two favorites were Jake Lamotta's "Raging Bull" and Rocky Graziano's "Somebody up there Likes Me."

the books, haven't read either but seen raging bull with De Niro, an rockys story wiht Newman, brilliant! Newman even gets his voice...

The book reveals SOOOOO much more of the Lamotta story than the movie. If you liked the movie you'll love the book. The Lamotta and Graziano stories were very similar... in fact they crossed at one point. Raging Bull has a funny story in about Graziano and Lamotta being in the same youth detention center, and Graziano assisting Lamotta in an ill-fated escape attempt.
