Could hatton castillo rely on hatton?

Ive been thinking about this fight for quite a while now..
And also about hatton's career..And its starting to bug me and worry me...

Basically.. When ricky went out and had a brutal fight with then undisputer light welterweight kostya tszyu..He showed us what he was about.. And he had been talking specifically about the undisputed champs for about two years previous to this..
Before tszyu it was judah..Ricky wanted the judah fight..Not the paper titles it was more about the quality of fighter..And of course kostya took out zab so ricky- kostya it was when rick finally got his wish..

But things have been going downhill since.. Still undefeated, but people are really getting down on hatton as he hasnt been dominating of late and the doubters are re - emerging...
It really hit home when the B.A.D Hbo commentator was doubting on hatton during malignaggi - cherry last weekend..I thought.This is incredible..Hbo are doubting on ricky now...

But as we all know.. Well at least ive always known..Ricky will!! At least sign the big fights..
This is what he wants..He wanted tszyu he wants castillo mayweather oscar...
And he can Beat them..Its more then possible..

But on the fan side ive been thinking..
Ricky really needs this castillo fight.. He needs to win it .. and its gota be brutal and entertaining.. and very watchable..But i also thought..How does he fare when he lives up to his word and stands toe to toe with jlc.. Who is pretty much undroppable..

I started to think ..Wait what happens if ricky were to set up this ' brawl '..
But outbox castillo.. From ricks p.o.v that could get the win and easyer...
But i just thought how the fans would be angry and how badly it would effect his reputation..
I dont know..Im really quite worried about the right..Love jlc..But its a must win for hatton..
Hes come to far now .. And the more big wins ..The more big fights he will take afterwards too..
These big fights set up the Huge fights..But hatton is in such a bad position when it comes to winning over the fans and deciding what is not only the right way for him so that he wins..
And the right way for the fans.. So that he puts a stop to the doubts..
Tough life when your trying to prove yourself to the fans...

what a great post. you know, i think that if ricky puts up a great fight, even if he loses, he'll be ok to continue on.

i love jlc, but you know what, ricky can take him, and if he does, that will nice.

A lot of people have been badmouthing Castillo as of late, saying that he's shot.
I disagree. JLC's body punching and strength in the championship rounds will be
the end of Ricky's undefeated record.

I really think this is a pick em' fight. It will be brutal. All my friends dislike Castillo after the whole Diego Corralles debacle; but I think he takes good fights. He is a warrior to the end. His last opponent was pretty damn tough as a warm up fight.

This is a very important fight for Rick and will show whether or not he still has the fire left in him for the big fights.
I think Rick is past his best personally after many hard fights and the party lifestyle but I REALLY hope I'm wrong. If he has cut down on his eating and drinking and is watching his weight carefully we could see the old Rick once again and then we can make our minds up about how much he has left for future superfights.

If Rick does get back to his best I think he will have an all out fucking war to be honest, thats how he likes to do it. Both RH and JLC need a good performance after recent fights (or not in JLC's case). Castillo is a great fighter though and I think that both Hatton and Castillo are suckers for fighting at the level of their opponents, so this could well be one of the best if not THE best fight this year. I see Rick getting cut and dropped by a body shot at some point on the way to a very late KO.

I'm rambling but I can't wait to see these two punch the fuck out of each other ;D

I think Hatton will be a bit to much for Castillo at this stage in his career.If Ricky can get himself fit for the fight he can maybe stop Castillo late on in the fight.When i say fit i mean like going 12 rounds and not slowing down like he has been lately.

i figure if corralles can go toe to toe with jose then ricky probably can.
ill go for a hatton stoppage around 8

Remember at the time Castillo - Corrales I & II, Corrales was considered to be 1 of the p4p hardest punchers in all of boxing.

Whoever comes in this fight with better conditioning is going to win.I beleive Hatton is going to comeout with the victory.

It could rely on Castillo lets not forget he will have been a pro 17 year by the time they fight Ricky won't have been a pro 10 year Castillo has been pro since he was 16 plus he has a few stoppage loses one to cesar soto in 2 rounds 2 to javier jauregeui tko10 and 1 to julio alvarez tko10 and also the corrales stoppage tko10 just hope the corrales fights did'nt finish him i go for Ricky tko round 4

id say the fight goes like this
rounds 1 & 2 both go fairly hard toe to toe with castillo edgeding it, prehaps scaring hatn once or twice
rounds 3 & 4 & 5 hatton gradully working into the fight
6 & 7 hatton takes over, stunnning castillo once or twice
round 8 - hatton stops him
