A fight i would like to see Miranda vs Calzaghe whats your thoughts?

This could be the fight Calzaghe needs its a proper danger fight it would be a war

I think Joe would batter him to be honest. He would be bigger and better in all departments than anything Miranda has seen to date.

The Eastman fight were'nt bad i think he would do better than you think

Possibly. I wouldnt use the Eastman fight as any kind of yardstick though. Eastman and Calzaghe are like chalk and cheese in the ring.

Eastman with fewer miles on the clock would have KO'd Miranda, Ive no doubt of that.

I just think it could have the makings of a war he's better than Manfredo

Hmm, based on what? We really don't know if he's better than Manfredo. He hasn't fought anyone. They are probably on the same level. Too bad Green and Manfredo didn't fight, with the winner to take on Calzaghe.

Miranda has faced championship material in Eastman and Abraham. We know that he is close to being the real deal. Manfredo hasn't really fought anybody. With that being said JoeCal will beat Fredo, and if JoeCal ever faces Miranda, JoeCal will win that fight too.

He fought Eastman,Abraham and now Allan Green all named fighters he's making a good name for himself thats more than Joe's doing at the moment.Allan Green is unbeaten and dangerous its a risky fight but Miranda just wants to fight win lose or draw whats Joe do fights Manfredo now i like Manfredo but he's lost to Gomez and then to Mora twice thats what Joe does wrong he fights fighters that on paper he know's he can beat that way he keeps his 0 their is more to life than been unbeaten like fighting named fighters the Miranda fight would be great and would'nt be suprised to see Joe lose and may even get stopped

Calzaghe would slap the shit out of Miranda!!!!

Edison is a puncher he doesn't box, his defense isn't that good, he gets easily frustrated, and he's young.


It would be a BRUTAL night for Miranda as Joe would get quick combo's off and get out of danger

i think this is a really tough fight for miranda and calzaghe. i think miranda will be ready for calzaghe after a few more fights. so far he is doing well fighting guys like howard eastman, AA, willie gibbs putting em all in hospital. calzaghe isnt bigger than miranda, they both big. miranda also has a long reach. personally i think miranda could mess up calzaghe with his power and really give him a tough fight. it jus takes one good punch from miranda to get the fight in his favour....remember the gibbs fight?

Miranda wont cover up like lacy and let calzaghe slap him all over. this will be a war and i hope calzaghe grows some balls to fight miranda after miranda beats the likes of allan green and taylor.

I can't see anyway that Miranda would win this fight, I guess he could land a bomb and maybe stop him, but that's not likely IMO, Calzaghe's just a much better fighter at this stage in their careers.

I was refering to Green as having not fought anyone. Miranda has a pretty good resume and would be a good fight for Calzaghe. Joe would need to bring his top form, ie like he looked against Lacy, to pull it out. I would like his chances, actually, but I'd give Miranda a good punchers chance.
