Are america getting too desperate for a heavyweight champ
Well america seem to make excuses that they getting tortured in HW division because most of they biggest strongest athletes are involved in other sports, well then I can too say that I would have been the strongest, fastest, biggest, toughest, cleverest in the world etc if i wasn't busy working in a corner shop. But anyway most people make up excuses when they lose.
I wana focus on one paticular person who a NFL star Eddie chambers, he seems to be the only one from the Nfl or basket ball sports to make it this far.
But anyway he barely ranked in the top 15 of 2day heavyweight but is definantely climbing up the ladder but once he get in the ring withand I mean even with the weakest russian fighter, there is no doubt he gona get thrashed so I really suggest these rest of american sports to stick at their soft high paid sport because the hunger for money is not enough to become a world champion even when the division is weak.
It when hasim rahman got knocked out but oleg maskaev the 2nd time he even said the reason why the american are finish is because the fight for the money, They need somenone like Ali a good muslim who fight for glory, fight for black people, muslim people, good people and etc.

I think that your problem is that your'e nationality is getting the best of you & you end up outting yourself as a rather bitter person that borders on bigotry.
The majority of TRUE boxing fans get behind a champion no matter what color or nationality he is.
Most Americans supported Vitali & Wladimir...you need to broaden your horizons...you might learn a little more than you THINK you know...because you my friend are clueless. Boxing fans rally behind a fighter & right now...anyone...not just Americans are yearning for a heavyweight to come in & clean the scene.
Samuel Peter, Wlad or Vitali Klitschko, & even Valuev have most buzzing.
Open your eyes. You won't last long here with the attitude that you keep portraying.

It is amazing the true idiocy that you have been able to type out for us in your short stay. Most people wait around posting every once in a while before they prove to us how stupid they are. But not you, you go straight to the front of the stupid line and proudly proclaim "HERE I AM"!!!!! You are definitely on your way to being the fastest thing to get banned from this site.

There talent all over the world but in the third word country and devloping country, they find it soo much tougher trying to become heavyweight champion, because they probably don't have any boxing gym where ever the from or they gym does not have the full equipment or if they have great potential to be a heavyweight champion, there no person the to bring him forward or tell him, motivate him, plus in these kind of country people work all day just to survive, yes and even the kids.
The american always have had advantage in boxing because it was invented there, they wre more likely to get a shot at the title, anyway as boxing was spreading in usa first but then spreaded in the rest of the world, the truth was that lewis took on the whole america and am sick of hearing people saying the russian wiped the america of fighting because it was actually lennox who conquer all the america and when he retired, the russian continued to stay on top.
But I don't think the american should give up because the've got the greatest fighter of all time like Muhammed ali.
But I will say the russian deserve more credit for being world champion because of the extra difficult they have to go through becoming a world champion.

The Russians as well as other east europeans haved lived in hardship and with some of the harshest conditions that mother nature had to offer but yet they flourished. For thousands of years they survived(get tough or die) ,and now that the iron curtain has fell they are finding an easy way to make a good life and it's in the ring and the greatest may be yet to come.I hope I don't piss anyone off but I admire these people.

Thats not true although boxing has been going on for 1000's of years, modern boxing first came about in around 1867, the Marquess of Queensberry rules were drafted by John Chambers for amateur championships held at Lillie Bridge in London england for Lightweights, Middleweights and Heavyweights. The rules were published under the patronage of the Marquess of Queensberry, whose name has always been associated with them.

This fool has been on before, he often signs up under two different names and then has a conversation with himself.
Unfortunately, each persona is as stupid, illiterate and inarticulate as the other, so it's pretty easy to spot.
If a Mod was to check out chummy's IP address, I bet he has been around many times before. It is a bit like cyber-reincarnation!

Re: Are america getting too desperate for a heavyweight champ
First off genius it's IS America getting too desperate
And the answer is no...why should America panic??? We've had top heavyweights FOREVER and we'll have them again.
Re: Are america getting too desperate for a heavyweight champ
Nationality doesn't really bother me...
If he wants to play that game though... The Russians are doing so well in the Heavy Weight Division because of how big sports like basket ball and American Football are.
Why do you think the Americans still have a firm grip on most of the other divisions whilst the Russians only have a grip on what is currently the weakest division in terms of talent?
Not that it's important... boxing isn't a team sport... at the end of the day it's an individual in the ring... and nobody else.
Judge them off that, not the country the box out of...::**

:coolclick: very nicely put.
I think it is always nice to see people from your country in the mix of the top few, but when it comes down to it there are two guys putting their health on the line to entertain us and try make something of themselves. where they come from is irrelevant, bring it up is showing you true colors as a fan boy of your country only and just wanting to throw something back in someone else's face... Pathetic.
