Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
Manfredo feels he has had the best training camp he has ever had and is ready to take the title away from Calzaghe.

Dont think he will be so confident after ther first few rounds when he relizes he is out of his depth.
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
He might be willing to die but i think he should just settle for a free boxing lesson off JC
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
Manfredo is playing the wannabe warrior....he will be stopped, and stopped easily...
Silly little punk!!! :-\
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"

Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
Thats the kind of talk made by someone on death row or who has terminal cancer.
It seems Peter believes he has about as much chance to win this fight as we do ;D
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"

He must be excited though, getting to fight for a world title and meet with Jesus on the same night.......
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
Good to see Peter knows whats coming
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
Pete's gonna make a fight of this. Win, lose, or draw people will think more highly of Peter after this fight. All he has to do is land one good right on Joe C's suspect chin, and then finish him how freddy showed him. Either that, or just let Joe C pump his brittle hand into his forehead a couple of times. lol

not what i would call a suspect chin really mate. he's been down a few times yeah but he's been caught clean every time and they were all flash knockdowns that he just got straight back up from and then started throwing and lookig a bit embaressed.
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
In the sport of boxing you never know i might have a little wager on pete
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
Wow u guys are kind of harsh. Give the guy credit at least for not wanting to fight tomato cans on ESPN for the rest of his life. He wanted to find out how good he really was and now at least he'll know.
Re: Manfredo " I'am ready to die in there"
On fight night Calzaghe will be 35 fighters do age overnight you never know what could happen not all fighters are like Hopkins who will fight till he's 105 and keep winning

good point mate. but he didnt really show any signs of slowing the pace in his last outing. but didnt look anywhere near his best against an askward oponent either.

well said mate. he is taking a hell of a chance in fighting joe C and no one is giving him any kind of real chance either. but being realistic i cant see him beating calzaghe
