t is their third encounter as Parra scored a couple of hairline majority decisions over Sakata here in June 2004 and in September 2005. Sakata also failed to win the WBA interim belt, losing a debatable split duke to Roberto Vazquez in Paris last December. Sakata, a year his junior at 28, is expected to fulfill his dream in his fourth crack at the WBA 112-pound throne.

THIS IS A REAL WARRIOR(PARRA)Does not open his mouth unnecessarily, fights people in their own backyards, very good fighters, and wins. His resume is getting better and better. Probably P4P number 1 underrated boxer.
I like Parra & think he's competitive with all the top guys @ 112, I think the best fighter on his record (Morel) he caught at the right time though, Morel became shot overnight.

CC#1439...Thanks for the news...
Time to find out if hes recovered as well as he says he has from the injury.... One thing you can't deny (As VD pointed out) is the fact that he ain't afraid to fight anywhere and I think that's what makes him THAT good. So many fighters today complaint about, location, gloves, ring size all that... Yet this little guy is allover the place kicking some ass....
Sakatas turned out to be a stubburn opponent for him will see if Parra can brake the MD that hes gotten twice....
Re: Parra arrives in Japan!
CC back Mick. I'm quite nervous about this fight, injury, inactivity, and Sakata is a tough fighter. And AGAIN,in Sakata's backyard. :-\
