Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
Any of them?? And Vitali avenging one of them doesnt count. To me that is what makes a champion. Ali did, Louis did, even Lennox did. I understand the politics but you would think he would want peace of mind beating at least one of the three guys that KOd him.

i agree he could of easily beat ross purity in rematch i dont know about sanders he is bit dangerous i think he would of maybe koed wlad again and brewster well he was giving brewster a lesson i think he should of rematched him aswell he would of won rematch imo
and i agree avenging his losses would of done better for his legacy imo
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
Purrity would be a blow out, Brewster hs eyes issues, and Sanders is getting long in the tooth...though he certainly would pose a real threat to the "new" Wlad. That would be a good money fight as well.
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
Yeah its definately too late now to fight Purrity, he should have while he had a chace, but Sander is a threat but hes old now so who knows what he has left...dont know whats going on with Brewster, but regaurdless of all those things youre right those three losess will hurt his legecy imo

At all costs Klitschko needs to avoid Brewster. Brewster has THE style to defeat Klitschko 5/10 times. He has an extremely hard head, loads of KO power and will press the attack whereas the new and improved Klitschko wants to pace himself to be sure he has enough for a full 12 rounds. Aside from tying him up I don't know how Klitschko negates him. But how do you tie up a tornado- remember what he did to Andrew Golota?
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
Yeah but Brewster being inactive is one of the reasons I hate Don King, from what I know Brewster's been given the ok to train and has been and Don's been keeping him out of fights.
You know what, if Shannon is still pneumoniatized then Sultan should fight Brewster, hell Tony the Tiger(a real heavyweight fighter) could fight Brewster, the division is very open for a few fights. And no matter what people say, of all the "Heavyweight Champs" We have now, he was/is the most fun to watch(I know the Meehan fight wasnt exciting) But the Wlad fight, the Golata fight, the fight he had in Germany and the Lyakovich fight were all great fights that brought life to the Heavyweoght division, win or lose if I hear Lamon Brewster is fighting, I'm watching, and thats the only Heavyweight I can truly say that about.
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
The Purrity loss should have been avenged, I really dont see the reason for not doing so. At the time Wlad was fighting several times a year, and Im sure there was room in the diary to fit in a rematch against a journeyman. A journeyman who is still running and has lost the last 3 on the trot! There is no reason why Wlad could not have fought Sanders instead of Big Brother doing it instead. And though Brewster is injured now, there is again no reason why a rematch hasnt been set up much sooner.
It does all reflect poorly on Wlad....no excuses...
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
Regardless of the rights and wrongs and (possibly even true) reasons why Wlad didn't get revenge, history will judge him unkindly for that.
Great Fighters get revenge, or at least seek the rematch !!

And we dont really know Wlad's motives...perhaps greatness is not on the agenda?! ???

I really like Brewster, but Wlad got nothing to fear from him...
He dominated Brewster the first 4 rnds, even floored him in the 4th and from what I heard
Brewster was never down before that...But in the 5th Wlad mysteriously collapsed...
probably overpaced(?)...and therefore beat himself...I don't know why there haven't been
a rematch yet...

Watch that fight. Because Wlad had already shown he may go down that night when Brewster stunned him in the 3rd round with a jab...

I wouldn't call that just a jab..was more like a big straight left...,but I disagree Wlad wasn't stunned,
it just looked a little awkward how he fended the attack that Brewster launched after he
connected, but that was the only hit aside for a few jabs for Brewster that rnd,Wlad did way better...
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
Because Vlad suffers from a common condition called vaginosis. It flares up every time he gets KTFO.
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
Sanders and Brewster defeats should be avenged if possible these were crushing defeats
Re: Why Hasnt Wlad Avenged His Losess
I don't know why he should have to?I could understand if he was the undisputed heavyweight champ like Lennox Lewis was when Rahman beat him, of course he wanted a rematch because he had all the belts! And as far as McCall it was 3 years later that he finally went after him and that was because it was for the vacant WBC belt. Why would Wladimir at this point go after Sanders and Brewster , neither of them have a belt and that is his goal right now and that is what everyone wants isn't it? ::**
