Great rematches that never happened.
Pacman - JM Marquez . Best fight ever?
Fernando Vargas - Tito . Tito ended him really
Roy jones - James Toney .At lightheavy Just to completely shut motormouth up for a month or so .
De la hoya - Tito . I thought the 1st was a good fight tito was weightdrained but looked fresh at Lightmiddle .
Naz - Barrera . I thought it was a great fight and a lot closer than most people thought.
Naz Kevin Kelley . how could it fail to be a great fight second time around ?
Shea Neary - Mickey Ward . Not great fighters but it would have been a good un.
Ike Quartey - De la hoya . Really had a smell of unfinished business didnt hit the heights but was just warming up in my opinion .
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
Hopkins v Jones
Ali v Foreman
Hearns v Pryor. But in the pro ranks, imagine that.
Hagler v Lenord
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
I would have loved to see a Naz v Barrera rematch Naz with a better training camp realising he has to be better this time and having a plan B other than just wanting to ko him
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
That fights on Youtube.com .
Hearns - Pryor . Back then both were slicksters i think Hearns only scored 11 kos in his entire amatuer career.
One rematch id like to see from the old amatuer days would be Vernon Forrest - KT . KT put on a clinic i hear , how would he do with VF in a pro ring .
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
vitali vs lewis
tyson vs douglas
hagler vs hearns
ill think of few more later

Re: Great rematches that never happened.
At 140 i think KT would've knocked him out. Wait a minute I'm not sure about this good call
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
In recent times, DLH-Quartey is the one that sticks out. It was a great, great fight and it had a bad decision, so there should have been a rematch.
I know DLH didn't want to screw up the potential huge fight with Tito, but they should have gotten in the ring again at some point.
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
tyson v douglas
ali v foreman
mcguigan v cruz (i for one would have been interested to see a rematch in UK)
jones v toney
hopkins v jones
sanchez v nelson
barrera v pacman (cant see it happening)
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
Holmes v Berbick (car park fight not ring) I'd loved it maybe Larry could've droped from a bus shelter with the elbow Hulk Hogan style
Re: Great rematches that never happened.
Ward-Augustus
RJJ-Hopkins(back in the day,not now)
Duran-Barkley

Hagler v Lenord
Defo Hagler v Leonard, but don't think Leonard wanted any part of it.
Also wouldn't mind seeing Hagler V Hearns, couple of the greatest rounds of boxing ever seen.
Finally RJJ v the Korean Olympic Gold medal winner ;D
