on boxing boots

i wonder which is better, use boxing shoes or boxing boots?

if ur gona use boots, i advise leather ones.. been using them, but the cost is worth it

I got mine for 25 bucks :D. The boots are better because they offer more ankle support than the shoes. Make sure it's light, a good fit and that you can break them in.

boots for the support and look, but mid-cuts for simplicity.

I actually quit using my boots and now just use low-cut puma shoes since the soles fairly closely resemble a boxing sole. I wouldn't really recommend this though.. I have VERY strong ankles from playing hockey all my life and I always left a couple holes untied at the top and my skates were looser than most other guys because I liked to lean forward more than most so my ankles got a major workout for years.

ps- does anyone know what kind of boots winky wright typically wears? his are damn nice.

He wears adidas mid-cut's usually black or white.

They about 6 inch high.. Not the lightest of boots but leather very strong and very good ankle support..
No stumbling or give from my ankles since ive had them.. I never understood how boots could help like they do til i wore em..
And a big plus is they are fwockin pretty!!
