Cotto still in the hospital
I just read that Cotto is hospitalized. He was sick the day of the fight went to the hospital right after and he is still there. He is getting worse. :o
In other news, they are trying to add Henry ‘Nitro’ Bruseles vs Ricardo ‘Mochuelo’ Torres to the June 9th undercard ;)

Miguel Cotto, el invicto campeón welter de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, está recluido en el hospital HIMA en Caguas a raíz de una fuerte gripe que aparentemente se le ha complicado, según confirmó su padre, del mismo nombre.
"Está hospitalizado en el HIMA. Desde el día de la pelea con Oktay Urkal estaba enfermo y así peleó", expresó.
Por cierto, el pasado sábado, Cotto asistió a la cartelera ‘Guerra en el Pachín’, pero su estado de salud ya iba en deterioro atestiguándolo así una fuerte tos acompañada por los tradicionales síntomas de la ‘monga’.
"Está desde ayer (anteayer) en horas de la mañana en el hospital. Tiene un virus de vómitos, fiebre y diarrea. Y estaba deshidratado. No es que sea una cosa grave pero tenemos que asegurarnos que salga de esa congestión que tiene lo más pronto posible", manifestó.
Cotto, que por la cortadura en el ojo izquierdo producto de un cabezazo fue suspendido automáticamente por 45 días, esperaba tomarse un par de semanas de descanso antes de regresar al gimnasio Bairoa para el 19 de este mes.
El cagüeño tiene en agenda exponer su corona por segunda vez en junio 9 en el Madison Square Garden ante Zab Judah, quien estuvo presente en el coliseo Roberto Clemente la noche en que Urkal se rindió al 1:01 del undécimo episodio.
Por cierto, su manejador Evangelista Cotto indicó que interesa que Henry ‘Nitro’ Bruseles se mida a Ricardo ‘Mochuelo’ Torres, monarca de las 140 libras en la Organización Mundial de Boxeo, pero no en Colombia, manifestando que gestionaría que dicho combate formara parte del cartel de junio 9.
"Nos gustaría que el presidente de la OMB, Francisco Valcárcel, nos diera esa oportunidad y que la pelea fuera parte de esa cartelera en Nueva York. Esa pelea la tienen para Colombia pero nosotros no estamos muy a gusto de ir para allá. Estamos tratando de que se mueva para otro lado ya sea para otra fecha o en la misma cartelera Cotto-Judah, como una de las tres que vayan a ir por televisión si el presidente de la OMB nos da la oportunidad de atrasar esa pelea un mes para que ambos muchachos salgan beneficiados en el sentido económico y tengan más exposición", expresó.

I take it you used some 'Internet' translater ;D cause some of the words in spanish DO NOT match them in the meaning of english..... ;D
Allow me, Cotto was hospitalized with a flu, but it has gotten more complicated/worst he made attempts to go on about his business but he was clearly showing signs of sickness..... vomiting, dirreah and fever he is dehidrated.......

It says that Cotto Never left the hospital the day of the fight since ha had a virus not the flu. A virus that makes you vomit and also makes you have stomach ache and diarrea it alsao says that he was already a litlle sick in the fight but the virus exploded once he was there for the cut in the eye. ;)
