Contender fighters= Great PR
Could some one please explain to me the sudden opportunities that seem to be opening for the fighters from The Contender?
Does putting a bunch of average fighters together and carefully editing their fights and making it into some sort of reality show actually make them better than they actually are?
Bonosante seems to keep getting these relatively high profile fights and keeps loosing, Mora turns down a World title shot and 7 figure offer because of the location, Ishe Smith complains about decisions and the politics of boxing keeping him down and Manfredi gets a shot at Calazgi!?! ???
Have any of the fighters that were on this show demonstrated that they were anything other than average?
Great PR job by SRR though!
Re: Contender fighters= Great PR
The main reason is that they create their own PR now after being on the show. It is like anybody else that has been on some reality TV show, after they show some get opportunities that others dont because they were on some reality TV show. There are a few examples from all of the reality shows, of some contestant(s) that were able to prolong their 15 minutes.
