Valuev the new Primo Carnera?

Certainly Valuev's fights have not been fixed like Carnera's were back in the day, but he is a huge monster like Carnera was and has a HW belt. He is also pretty unskilled. I've heard that his wins over John Ruiz and Larry Donald were gifts. Valuev's competition has been less than stellar lately that is for sure, though I like Monte Barret, he's got heart, but he fought a fukin stupid fight. Anyway anyone see the comparision I'm tryin to make here. Isn't Valuev mostly just hype? I think so, least till he fights and clearly beats a real top guy. Hell beating Rahman would be something.

Kinda harsh to say hes as bad a Primo.
Hes not the best out there but he has some talent , hes goto beat Wlad and co. to be taken seriously tho.

I think he's just a big hype machine i don't think he looked very comfortable at times when Mcline was getting punches off on his big head i think somebody 6ft 4inch plus with a good punch takes him out

Just wait till he gets tested, then we can answer the question.


I actually think he might be under rated, he does his best and it is not his fault he was born that way , we'll see eh.

He's a huge guy, that is the only similarity.
