I think your on crack. Mike Tyson should have been on the list. Others were out of order, Micheal Spinks 1 behind RJJ is insane.

1st heres CC#23 on me for putting the list together as I could imagine it took you sometime.....
I always say I'm gonna do one and I never do.... :P
Just some things I saw that I either question or disagree...
- I could live with Duran at #7
- 'Golden Bantam' was a great Bantam but not better then 'El Puas' and certainly not top 10 all time....
- How is Spinks on a TOP fighters list? The again this is according to you.....
- As much as I like 'El Pepito' he does not belong in TOP fighters list.....
- I think the 2 names that just blew my mind to see where you listed them are 'Finito' & 'Mantequilla' those guys IMO seem to be to low in the list.
Good for you for putting the list together.... :)

CC for the effort first of all.....And a good list but I would make changes...
No Tyson??....
Tommy Hearns #40 beneath Michael Spinks,,Ezzard Charles and Bob Fitzsimmons??...
Rivardo Lopez and Sal Sanchez deserve to be higher also
Re: My Top 50 fighters ever
HOLYFIELD is a must on this list.
GREATEST Cruiserweight EVER, and ONE of the GREATEST Heavyweights of ALL TIME and he is not on the list. And you got to put the pre-bite Tyson on this list, granted very low. And B-HOP should be on that list too. There are actually several signifigant misses on on otherwise good list.

Because Arguello accomplished a ton in his boxing career. While Pryor's only win of real note was over a blown up Arguello. Awesome fighter but he didn't accomplish nearly as much as Arguello who had wins over Mancini, Chacon, Olivars, Escalera, Bazooka Limon and titles in 3 divisions.
Re: My Top 50 fighters ever
As for the list I think it is very good. I really like it. Looks very well thought out and I'll list my thoughts on the list here.
1. The first thing I looked for was Roy Jones Jr. You'll draw some sharp criticism for having him that low but I agree with you to the tee on that one.
2. I'm not sure who Eder Jofre is.
3. I like how high you have Ezzard Charles. Maybe a bit too high but he is a very underappreciated fighter who does not get enough love on these All Time list so to see him in the top 20 is refreshing to be honest.
4. Tunney is top 10 imo. Not a very well liked fighter and was hurt by the "long count" in terms of his legacy. He is in the same discussion with all of those guys in the top 10.
5. As talented as Michael Spinks was, and even with decision wins over Holmes (BS but still count) I'm not quite sure he is top 50. Much less top 30.
6. Great inclusion with Tony Canzonori.
7. Hearns is probably a little low on the list.
One of the better if not the best list I've seen of it's sort. CC top stuff.

I didn't even notice Holyfield was not on the list...Your right he should be on there somewhere....still all in all great list I see a lot of fighters who deserve to be on their that many leave off
Re: My Top 50 fighters ever
boy u got time on ur hands ........ first off jonesshould be way highr up frazier #50 ? thas crzy wat bout holyfiel?toney?tyson?hopkins......... sum of those guys are jus not really speacial fighters there just remeberd ........like in the future gatti will be remebered but he souldnt be on the greatest list
Re: My Top 50 fighters ever
:coolclick: for taking the time to put that list together pal. I disagree with it on a few accounts....i'd have Rocky and Leonard higher personally. Actaully agree with the top 3 in that exact order though.
