Quite a significant step up this for the young Chavez, I had no idea he had 30 fights already. Havent seen a great deal of him to be honest, will this be a tough nights work?

step up in class indeed but Chavez Jr should easily beat Stewart by comfortable decision if he doesn't ill be shocked
After his last fight, the kid said this year would prove his worthiness and how it would be a very important year.
Shit! yeah! it is Stewarts got experience on his side just look at some of the names hes faced and look at some of the recognizable names hes beat....Quote:

WOW!!
Should really tell us where Jr. is at.... :)
I really think boxing will benefit by having JC Jr do well....it definantly seems like he'll cause for some good matchups in the future
Of course I don't mean he should just be handed everything.....but I am glad he is finally stepping up
i have been very impressed by JCC jr so far. his baby face is crazy though. he looks about 8 years old.
actually i think guys like him is bad for the sport, pampered and has a very famous father.Quote:

I think Chavez is a decent fighter, but Id be VERY surprised to see him ever hold a title. Beating Stewart is going to be a task for him and im sure Stewart knows what this fight means to his career
Also I hope they don't change the opponent like some previous times!
Just read this, Chavez jr camp wants Gatti.

I haven't seen him fight before, has he fought on any good cards?
steward has been around the block a few times. this is a good step up.
Stewart is known for losing everytime he stepped up so who's sure if this is really a stepup ???

JCC Jr. is fighting Anthony Shuler (20-4-1) 14 Ko's on the Pac vs. Solis card.....
Hes fighting Stewart until June on the Cotto vs. Zab card.......
Thought I'd point that out.
