Alot of info from Warren there. Pretty much the same interview from Hattons side though.

If Warren is telling the truth then Hatton had plenty of opportunities to fight big fights.

Im sure in a few years time it will transpire that it was all Enzo Calzaghe's fault as well.

Warren is talking bullshit.

He PROMISED the Hatton's after Tackie that he'd deliver either Sharmba Mitchell or Vivian Harris, if he couldn't get Kostya Tszyu. What does Ricky end up with? Thomas Holbaek Pederson.

Then he PROMISED the Hatton's that his next would be against Sharmba Mitchell or Vivian Harris, if he couldn't get Kostya Tszyu. What does Ricky end up with? Carlos F****** Vilches. And he forced Ricky to take that fight on five weeks notice.

Now Frank Warren was earning tonnes due to the 20,000+ ticket sales on those occasions, while Hatton was coughing his guts up during the fights and almost in tears.

And it was RICKY HATTON who insisted that a fight with Junior Witter be put in the new contract with Warren back in 02 or 03 or whenever it was, there is even footage of Warren saying this in a post-fight interview on Sky Sports, clearly stating that RICKY had insisted on a fight with Witter be put into the contract and Warren even said basically 'I'd rather let that fight grow until American TV recognise Junior, because then there's even more money in it for me'.

And Hatton's worst-ever performances by a mile are the Pederson and Vilches fights at a time when he was ready to hang up the gloves because his promoter simply did not have the ability to make proper fights.

Pretty much all predictable stuff from FW

But to be fair the matches made after Tszyu haven't been good. They nearly got Hatton beat against a NOBODY.

Since leaving Warren Ricky has fought and beat 3 world champions at 2 weights - not exactly small fights.
