Floyd WILL retire according to Leonard Ellerbee, (Yeah right..)

There's numerous interviews and quotes saying otherwise, but according to L his fighting days will soon be over. I don't believe it myself, and I really hope he doesn't walk away after he fights Oscar.

He is gonna fight Hatton...
Re: Floyd WILL retire according to Leonard Ellerbee, (Yeah right..)
If it makes $$$,it makes sense. No way Floyd retires after the Oscar fight. As long as he does not get knocked out(HIGHLY unlikely that he will) there will be a rematch and he'll earn even more.
Re: Floyd WILL retire according to Leonard Ellerbee, (Yeah right..)
....Well I think if Floyd is truthful about wanting to retire then I say Oscar rocks his ass and keeps him in the sport or makes him leave it like the spoiled brat he is!
Re: Floyd WILL retire according to Leonard Ellerbee, (Yeah right..)
Hell even SRL could keep away. If floyd could stay true to his word that would blow me away, but beside a possibal short layoff I think Floyd won't be resist the temptation of going back into the ring especially witth the scent of money under his nose. On the off chance that Oscar beats Mayweather we'll see both of their ugly mugs as time goes by.

Floyd knows you are a long time retired in professional sports, he is only 30 and has two good years and at least 4 maybe 5 big paydays ahead of him. He isn't going anywhere just yet, his ego won't allow it for a start! Losing to Oscar won't bother him to much as he will go back to 147 and clean up down there!
He's thinking legacy right now, he gets it by beating Oscar or unifying the Welter belts.
Re: Floyd WILL retire according to Leonard Ellerbee, (Yeah right..)
Since NONE of us know him...its best to take his word for it.I dont see how a payday will convince him otherwise because he is already in the 8 figures. As for his ego...no one else has his interest right now other than Hatton...so its kind of hard to believe that he wont retire after the Hatton fight.
Re: Floyd WILL retire according to Leonard Ellerbee, (Yeah right..)
I hope we never see him again.
